My worksheet is set to Manual mode. How to switch to Automatic?

You may notice that whenever you create a new worksheet, you will see that it is set to Automatic mode by default. Automatic mode enables continuous tax-calculation as you move between employees in the worksheet.

This may not be an issue for companies with a smaller employee count, but for larger companies, it can slow down the system’s performance.

Switching temporarily to Manual mode disables the constant tax recalculation, allowing you to move through your employee edits more efficiently.

TIP: If TTPay is running slowly due to tax recalculation, switch to Manual mode (press Shift + F9). Once you’re ready to close your worksheet, switch back to Automatic mode by pressing Shift + F9 again.

Note: this is NOT a substitute for a Statutory Override. Use the Statutory Override option if you need to manually adjust an employee’s taxes
